Gave Lovely Dinner Party Preceding the hospital ball Saturday evening at the Hobklrk Inn, Mrs. Robert Marye and Mrs. Thomas Ancrum entertained at a dinner party for twenty-four guests at the home of Mrs. Marye. Dinner was served buffet and places sel at smaller tables in the dining rooin and living room. White flowers and candles formed an attractive centerpiece for the table. Was Club Hostess Mrs. Jack Nettles, Jr. .was hostess to the members of her club Thursday afternoon with Mrs. W. F. Nettles, Jr. Mrs. Evcrette Montgomery and Mrs. Goorgo Stupalski invited as additional guests. A profusion of spring flowers decorated the party rooms and tea was served after the game. Mrs. I^ee Mays and Mrs. W. F. Nettles, Jr. were the prize winners. Honor Recent Bride A lovely party was given by Mrs. D. M. Dempster and Mrs. George Taylor Saturday afternoon in honor of Mrs. John Lawrence Team, a bride of the late winter. Twenty guests were asked for bridge and a dozen others for refreshments later. Spring flowers and peach blossoms were used in decorating the house and delicious refreshments were served after the game. Mrs. Lee Mays and Mrs. Will. Ham Moore won the score prizes and Mrs. Team was also remembered with a gift. Kiddies Had Easter Party Miss Sarah Wolfe had as her guests Friday morning twenty-six members of Camden's very young society set, when she gave a party at Magnolia Kindergarten. Ice cream and cookies were served and on each plate was a yethrw marshmallow chick and a chocolate bunny. After lunch the children' hunted up Caster eggs on lawn and the largest number of eggs were found by Barbara Goodwyn and Johnnie Kornegay. The b id<\ a charming brunette, was lovely in her wedding gown of lustrous Ivory v slipper satin, softly draped bodice was gained with shirring at the sides of tho paneled front and tho full skirt, shirred at the waistline, fell into a swooping train. Her veil of ivory illusion fell from a Juliette cap Her flowers were a Colonial bouquet which was centered with a large white orchid.
