Hospital in Omaha. MORE TO COME A 1 Marriage of Former Camden Girl Mr. and Mrs. C. B. McCaskill, formerly of Camden, but now of Ditchheld, Conn.,' announce the marriage of their daughter, Clara Elizabeth, to Robert Ackerman Richard, sou of Mr. and Mrs. Zelim Richard, of Litchfield. The marriage took place on February 17. in Millerton, New York, with the Reverend Williard Kilmer, pastor of the First Methodist church, oflflciaMrs. Richard is a graduate of the Camden high school, and of the Torrington Secretarial school. Mr. Richard is a poular young business man of Litchfield, where the young couple will make their home. Junior Legion Auxiliary Met The American Legion Junior Auxiliary met at the home of Misses B^tty and Anne Campbell Wednesday afterinoun with eighteen members present. The meeting was called to order by the president, Phyllis Karesh. The members pledged their allegiance to the flag after which the preamble was read, A selection, "Easter," was read by Betty Sowell, and Kathryn Russ sang a song. After all business had been discussed and decided upon, the meeting was adjourned. Delightful refreshments were served by the hostess. Gets Membership in Club Columbia, Mar. 10.?'Miss Jane Clarkson, of Camden, a student at the University of South Carolina, was among those co-eds at the University who were recently announced as being eligible for membership in the Polumatbeian Club, honorary scholastic society for girls who as freshmen made an average of "B" or better. Due to the limited size of the organization, only the girls making the highest averages are admitted to membership each semester. Miss Clarkson is a member of the sophomore clas9 at the University. A WPA wrecking crew demolished a building in Brooklyn, N. Y., and then found that they had Lorn down the wrong building. Celebrated Birthday Celebrating the sixteenth birthday of their aon, John Perry, Mr. and Mra. Clyburn Perry gave a party at their home Friday evening. For the occasion the Mvtag and dining rooms were throwu tAgS^er for dancing. Carrying out IT g^en and white color scheme vases and bowls of spirea and 1 exacordia attractively decorated the party rooms. High score prize 1 was awarded Mrs. F. D. Goodale and second high went to Mrs. J. M. Gandy. A salad course with coffee was served after cards. McKaln. Mrs. Bates Entertains Mra. W?. W. Bates added an extra table to the usual number when she entertained members of her bridge club Wednesday afternoon.
