W vYaidkl?e.| Stressing Ideal farm buildings for, South Carolina the exhibit will bo^ made up of models of model farm > buildings. The Extension Service's exhibit Is always of Interest to visitors attend-J lug the State Fair. Folks who have, bot-n attending this annual function lu Columbia for years declared that the sweet potato display last year was one of the best exhibits ever shown at the fair (' V. I'hagan, extension agricultural ngineer, who has been ably assisted by M C. MeKonzie. assistant in agcultural engineering, and \V. J. Out/ and Joe Strlbllng. Junior-agricultural engiut'ering sMidents at Cletnson. prepared the model buildings and will supervise putting up the exhibit. Fourteen models will he included in 1 the display. These are: a five-room farm house; a four-room tenant house; smoke house, poultry la>ing house; brooder house; A-typo hog house;, shed type hog house; dairy barn; tobacco barn; two general barns; cattle shed; poultry range shelter; and a corn crib. Interest In better farm building: is increasing every day In South Carolina and farmers?he fhoy large or small?are realizing the value of having adequate shelter for their l.vestock as well as coveniences around their farm buildings and safe and sane storage structures for their products, such as corn, sweet potatoes tcbacco and the like. All persons desiring to sell dairy products within the City of Camden shall have thirty (30) days from date of first publication of this notice in which to secure now permits and assignment of grades. Permits are granted by the Health Officer without charge when such persons ehall qualify under the law respecting sanitary conditions and grades.
