of soil erosion," were Increased
from 802,695 acres to 1,020,938 acres.

the soil conserving crops and

Young Albert Smith of Rains, in
Marlon county, was stabbed and killed
by his father, Ned Smith, who told
officers ho pulled a knife, as his son
was beating him. The father Is a'
small man and tho son had beaten
him several times in tho past when
displeased at tho father. The father
went to tho county seat and surrendered
to the sheriff. The inquest will
he neld today.
