plonshlp. The game was played here
on Zemp held and waa hard fought
throughout. The firat period wan
played on even terms and waa the
heat quarter of the battle. For the

Nolan, Itahon and Hulsall made long
gains to the one yurd marker and
Ituhou plunged over for the acore. A
pmig from Kubon to Ualsull nutted the
extra point.
Klloree kicked off to Hendricks who
returned the pigskin to his own 40
yard line. Then Nolan, with beautiful
interference, went 60 yards off
tacklo to score. Again llulsall made
the extra point on u puss.
The locals made another score in
the third quarter after Hubon gained
50 yards on an ofT tackle play. Two
pusses and Nolan scored over center
with the extra point failing.
In the final period, Nolan an end,
made the longest, run of the game as
he went 7k yards on a reverse with
very little Interference. Hendricks
bugged the extra.
Outstanding for the visitors were
Irlrk and Uookhurt. The former's
punting was for GO and 05 yards and
never less than forty yards, His
kicking in many instances kept the
local out fit with their bucks to i lie
wall. The blocking of Hookhurt was
another excellent feature during the
entire fray.
For Camden, players outstanding,
wore Kabon. who made three runs
over fifty yards, and Nolan, end, ami
llalsall in llie Imckfield also did linn
work. In tin* line Conuell and Rowell
were the stars. The tlrst downs
were hi for Camden and 0 for Klloree.

Biekley, Watt and Epting have been
champion pig club winners in previous
years at State Fairs.
Henry Hallman Stokes, Bamberg
county clubster, showed the -grand
champion beef club animal .competing
against .forty seven other animals.
Forty-six of these beef animals sold
sit auction on the fair grounds Friday
morning as a part of the regular Columbia
weekly auction market. The
Stokes animal sold for $1X.25 per hundred
pounds to J. Drake Fdcns of Columbia.
Not since war prices lias that
much been paid for beef animals. W.
H Boyle and Company of Shinier,
bought at $12 per hundred the reserved
champion grown out and shown
by .Saiu Garwood of that county, and
bought also three other outstanding
animals fed by Sumter 4-H club boys.
The 4-H dairy department with 52
animals on exhibition captured lit ribbons
in classes open to the world besides
prizes won in tin- 4-H departim
