Takes Father's Life

jail here today charged with the brutal
murder of his father, Hampton S.

Satur<lay afternoon.

crime had been committed.
The officer said the man confessed
the killing without hesitation. He

afternoon asking him to meet him

came up he shot him once with a single-barrelled

old), he recalls more vividly
than ever the embarrassing tilings
that have happened to him since

After the porcelain sink has been
thoroughly washed and allowed to
dry stains can bo removed by sprinkling
generously with cream of tartar
and allowing it to stand for several
hours,
Don't pack your chicken or Hah
dressings in too tightly because they
expand considerably while baking.
Cream will whip easier if the bowl
and beater are placed in the refrlgerator
until they are the sutne temperature

Ice cream or other frozen desserts
can be removed from the inold easily
if a hot cloth is placed around the
moid.
Old ink spots can sometimes be removed
by washing in hot lard.

said to be toughened by boiling in
weak brine.
Hard boiled eggs can be cut neater
if the knife is first moistened in
water.
Iron rust can be removed from
clothes by moistening 4\viih lemon
juice ami salt and placing in the sun.
