house to warm. Her clothes caught

preserve the natural beauty afforded
by Camden's many beautiful holly
trees, bushes and hedges. The members
are Mrs. Robert W. Pomeroy,
Mrs. Stanley Llewellyn and Mrs. L. I.
Guion. Personal appeals have been
made to city and county school chilidren,
white nnd colored, posters have
been placed in public places, and displays
in store windows demonstrate
jthe right and wrong way to pick holily.
The Tree Committee has worked
i with the city in the planting of 200
live oaks on the city streets.
Two drag-hunts will be held this
