Eli Bond kills otter on Hermitage pond weighing 20 pounds. Its fur was valued at $20. W. T. Pitts,of near Bethune, brings load of thirty-six turkeys and twenty-six chickens to Camden and gets good .price for them. R. F. Hough, of Culloden, Ga., former citizen of this county, pays visit to his brother, W. R. Hough, and tells of damage from boll weevil in his section, but says the damage is slight and fnrmers inclined to minimize the destruction of the pest and pay little attention to their onrush. W. C. Seagle and H. S. Zeigler post their lands on the river near Stockton in order to protect wild turkeys against poachers shooting them. Death of Mrs. Roberts ... Mrs.- Delia Roberts, wife of A. L. Robert!^ of the Flint Ridge section, died at her home Wednesday, November 11, aged 62 years, and was buried at Pleasant Plain church cemetery on the following day. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. John Dabney and Rev. M. Laughridge, of Lancaster. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. W. F.
