Howard Kenyon, of Charleston, who

Sweet pea* and fern were arranged
in vases around the room* in which
the guest* were entertained. The
high score prixe was won -by Mr*.
Jack Whitaker, Jr., and the guest of
honor was also (presented with a
lovely gift. In the late afternoon
the, hostess served delicious refreshmen

Mrs. Wooten Entertains at Bridge
Aimong the many pretty bridge parties
given this week was the one at
which Mrs. Franflc M. Wooten was
the yhostess on Wednesday morning
at her home on Fair street. Vases
of roses, sweet peas and mixed garden
flowers made a lovely setting
for the five tables. The players invited
were members of the Wednesday
morning bridge club and ait extra
table of guests included: Mrs.
William Shannon,^ Mrs. Henry Savage,
Mrs. Joe H; Guthrie and Mrs.
MV. H. Harris. The high score prize
at the guetft table was won by "Mrs.
i Guthrie, nnd the cliib prize was won
by Mr^ W. L. DePass^ At the conclusion
of the game the hostess
served a delicious ^course luncheon. '
