Vouiik People Present Minstrel
The young people of Pine Grove
j and Wateree acheoltt presented a most
! enjoyable minstrel Prjday night, February
Id, at JUarop DcKalb high
school. The minstrel was even better
than the crowd anticipated as the
participants displayed unusual ability
in enacting their respective parts.
The minstrel consisted of singing)
dancing ami jokes which kept the
audience intensely interested and
roaring with laughter throughout the
entire performance.
J. J. .Slater, superintendent of the
schools at l>oerun, Ga., disappeared
Sunday with bis wife and two chil<dren,
after a warrant had been sworn
out against him in which he is charged
with nn attempted assault on a
17-year-old school girl.
