Death of Mrs. Yarbrough
Bethune, S. (".. June 1H. ? Mrs. W.
H. Yarbrough, who lived a few miles
out of town, died last Monthly after
a long illness. Mrs. Yarbrough was
in her flOth year and was one of the
oldest members of the Bethune Presbyterian
church.
Funeral services were held at the
Scotch cemetery Tuesday conducted
bv the Rev. Mr. Keels of the Presbyterian
church. Pallbearers wore Arthur

Young People To Organize.
A meeting of pastors and re-preentajtives
of the different churches
f our city was held Monday, June 9,
it the New York Cafe, at which time
he possibilittfas of an organization
or the young people of the city was
liscussed. A motion was made that
he first meeting be held the Friday
light after the third Sunday in Sepember
at the First Baptist church
nd at that time the officers will be
lee ted.
The chairman of the meeting defind
the purpose of the organization as
K-ing an organization to find and deelop
new talent, to have a closer
ellowship among the young people of
lie churches. The meetings will be
icld once a month and rotate among
he different churches.
The monthly meeting will be com?osed
