N. disbursing officer, alleged to have disappeered from Charleston, 8. C., September SB last, with $60,000 in government funds. 1 he hunt here was based on information that a man answering Musels descrpition had chartered passage on a plane from Atlanta, Ga., for a flight to Tampa. The mrestigatton developed that a man resembling Musel landed at the local airport Wednesday among other passengers, that he carried a large sum of money and paid for his passage with a $1,000 bill. The suspect was traced to a hotel, but had checked out early yesterday morning. 1 he search was extended tq^ vessels leaving the hurbor, but no new clues had been found early today, it was reported. Mr. W. r. Holley, the president of the club, culled the meeting to order. * After the opening, the agricultural toucher presented the price of outs und wheat HSj quoted by tin- vurious seed merchants. The Club stressed the importance of each farmer growing enough wheat for home use. Over one hundred acres of wheat were pledged by those farmers present. This is a good start on the Clubs' "Live at Home Program." 0 County Agent Henry I).-Green then m very interesting and helpful talk to the Club. gMfctc' music which was furnished by four Kershaw musicians, was enjoyed by all. The Club plans to have some form of entertainment at each meeting. All farmers are urged to attend the meeting Friday night. Come prepared to tell the dumber of acres of wheat you intend to plant.
