?___ in kei^haw*county| t - - Where It Went There arc 2,000 cars in u*e in Kershaw County, of which one halt are Fords. This leaves 1,002 of other makes costing on an average of $1,250.00 each or $750.00 more than a Ford would have cost. Had all of these cars been Fords, there would have been a total saving of $752,250.00. More Than Deposits $752,250.00 is more than the total combined savings deposits of the three banks of Camden. Mr. Danker Think of it! Here was $752,250.00 for the first cost ab?ne for these cars ( not to mention a still greater sum for upkeep, operation. etc..) which could have been added to savings accounts. ' Mr. Heat Estater ... - Think of it! Here was $752,250.00 for the first cost alone of these cars which could have gone into buying homes. Mr. Merchant Think of it! $752,250.00 could have been i saved of these 1,002 cars had been Fords (m lower purchase price alone), and this vast sum could have been used to buy Groceries, Clothing. Shoes, Furniture, Hardware, Musical Instruments, Radios, et cetera. Paying Just Debts A few could have bought Fords instead of their ? ? ? ? and used the difference to pay all their honest and .just debts with cash left on hand.
