Many Enjoy Banquet
J The Junior-Senior banquet giver, at
! the King Haiglar Inn on last Friday
' evening was a most successful and .
(beautiful affair. The spacious rooms
I lent themselves to a gay crowd of
the high school set and their teachers.
The table was all that the occasion
demandled, everything carrying out
1 the color scheme in pastel -hades and
i
the i lass flowers, sweet peas, were
| scattered everywhere. A three-course ,
dinner was served by twelve mem-!
' hers of the ninth grade who wore
'pastel organdie aprons and caps with
white dresses. Kavors used at each
place were filled with candies and 1
the place cards were quaint figures ;
dressed in the prevailing colors. :
After dinner was served dancing be-'
came the order of the-day and thu<
ended one of the most elaborate- and
elegant of the Junior-Senior banquets 1
ever given by the high school here.
