Mr. Redfearn had been in poor health for the past two months, but for the past two weeks had been improving rapidly. His death was caused from heart trouble. Mr. Redfearn has been in active business at Chesterfield for the past twenty-five years. He was a very prosperous merchant, always helping those who were in trouble and by this he was thought much of, not only by the population of his town, but the entire county as His death has caused a great sorrow over the entire county. Funeral serv ices were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, all the business houses of town closing in honor of him. Mr. Hedfearn was fifty-six years old and leaves a wife, five ? children, four brothers and three sisters. - | Education Week Is Observed.. Bethuue, Nov. 20. ? Jerman, pastor of the Methodist church, spoke .on "Know Your School" Thursday morning. Among the members of tho fac ulty who took part on the programs were: Miss Ruth Watts, Miss Elise Hook, Mrs. R. K. Thompkins, Miss Eddie Bradham, Miss Alberta Stuck ey, Miss Lizzie Mae Riley, and Miss Qllie Farr. Dickson, rural mail carrier, near Drewington swamp Friday morning, when a deer dashed across the road in front of his automobile. Mr. Dickson halted his machine .leaped out and speeded after the deer. The deer attempted in the rush to leap over a wire fence that was nearby and broke his neck. An gerstein, a paralytic who in December killed eight members of hi? household after enticing them separately to his bedside, was beheaded this morning. After the crime Augerstein stabbed himself, set fire to the house and screamed for help, declaring the fam ily had been murdered and himself wounded by robbers. Recent Studies of soft pork by J. O.
