Fletcher Spigner, the able and popular solicitor of the Fifth Judicial Circuit ' comprising Kershaw and Kichland counties has just compiled one of the most remarkable reports over credited to any solicitor exf this circuit. During the year he secured 205 convictions against 2ft verdicts of not guilty. Kershaw county shows 108 convictions and hi acquittals. Kichland shows 1X7 convictions and nine acquittals. With it all he ?s a very fair man and there is no in stance where he has over pressed a charge where he thought a person not guilty. He fights hard and presents his cases in such a clear, forceful manner there is not much room for doubt in the, minds ?'f the average Juror. People who have taken automobile rides through the state of Washing ton will not be inclined to express surprise that a tree falling on a motor bus out there should kill five peo ple. The falling tree in that country "is?something to keep from under. Enter ing he encountered the robbers and immediately after they escaped through a rear door, he discovered the loss of the money and notified police.
