These are items of no little interest in themselves without under taking an estimate of the amount involved in financing Much ex tensive farming and the amount rep resented in the products gathered from the farms. But the figures will run high up into the thousands. Varieties of crops are cultivated. 1 he only one we shall mention is the potato crop. Last year he produced, cured, packed and sold seve i a I car loads of sweet potatoes, which were marketed throughout sev eral states and brought good return*.
