Queer
Feelings
"Some time ago, I was very
irregular," writes Mrs. ' Cora
Robie, ol Plkeville, Ky. "I
suffered a great deal, and knew
I must do something for this
condition. I suffered mostly
with my back and a weakness in
my limoa. 1 would have dread
ful headaches. I had hot flashes
and very queer feelings, and oh,
how my hsad hurt) I read of
CARDUI
The Woman's Tonic
and of others, who seemed to
hava the same troublea I had,
belnff benefited, so I began to
use It. i found it most bene
ficial. I Jpok several bottles
. . ? . and was made so much
better I didn't have any more
trouble of this kind. It reg
ulated me."
Cardui has been found very
helpful in thetorrection of many
cases of painful female dis
orders, such as Mrs. Robie
mentions above, if you suffer
as she did, take Cardui ? a
purely vegetable, medicinal
tonic, in use for more than 40
years. It should help you.

PUBLIC IS. TOLD TRUTH I
ABOUT STELLA VITAR
Kcmarkabio Treatment for Women Aioufe*
Such Intense Interest tyiat Druggists me
Overwhelmed with Questions of
All Kinds.
Stella Vita,? is on the tongue of every person in South Car
olina. Never before,- perhaps, have the people been moused
as they have since the announcement that this remarkable
treatment for "Diseases of Women" is to be distributee) here
Intense interest in manifested
everywhere ami so great has been the
demand for full information that
druggists havt> bfieti swamped wfto
"Questions concerning; the prepara
tion, what it is composed of and its
effect ^n relieving suffering women.
As a result and in order that the
public may be fully informed reward
ing Stella Vita? the Thacher Labora
tories have issued the following ex
planation:
Stella \'itae is Nature's own gift to
suffering womankind. It is not tjhe
product of a .day, nor is it a secrut
remedy. Hut on the other hand it is
composed of roots and herbs long
known to science as possessing pecu
liar healing properties in connection
with the treatment of "Female Dis
eases." j . !
Among the most, beneficial of these
ingredients which are found in large,
quantities in Stella Vitao a re r
BLACK HAW BARK OK ROOT.
This is ft domestic drug,, growing
principally in Western North Caro
lina, Soi\th Western Virginia, West
Virginia, Fast Tennessee, and the
mountainous parts of South Carolina,
Georgia and Alabama. It is a valua
ble Uterine Sedative and Anti-Spas
modic, and one of the. moat- dependa
ble agents in diseases peculiar to wo
men.
A LET R IS, also known as TRUE
UNICORN ROOT, and locally as Bla
zing Star or Star (irass (Aletris
Farinosa), one of the mos? dependa
ble and most universally used env
menagogue's known. It is also a Ren
era'J tonic, especially valuable in-fe-'
male diseases.
SQUAW VINE. This plant is a
native of mountain sections in North
Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Geor
gia and Alabama, also West Virginial
and Kentucky. It has the sanction
of the -highest authority, as a diaretic
tonic and astringent, and is especially
valuable in the large class known as
female diseases. It was used by pio- '
ncersf with special reference to iu
facilitating parturition.
UFK ROOT PLANT, ,ei;ogn| 2(d
and assigned as special v?Jue as (.w.
n^enagogue and diaretic. P is a ru~
tive of both the United State*
Europe,
HELONIAS ROOT, is a domestic
crude drug, where it is ascribed dis.
tinct virtues as an alterative and em
menagotfuo of first merit.
BLUE COHOSH ROOT, is a <fc.
, mcstk; drug, also known as Squaw
Root and Papoose Root, An Ami
Spasmodic of distinct merit, and an
emmenagogue of a very dependable
character. ?
SENNA, is used merely to relievo
the astringent inherency in some of
the other drugs. It is a native of
North Africa and Asia,
MOUNTAIN MAPLE, so called
CRAMP BARK, is a native of the1
UWUed States, and is accorded dis
tinct value as Anti-Spasmodic and
Uterihe Sedative.
In adition to these there are in
Stella Vitae many other aromatic*
and important medicinal ingredients.
Compounded and proportioned in a
manner never before used, these won
derful ingredients form the basis for
the splendid treatment for suffering
women now known as Stella Vitae.
The public may rest assured that in
using- Stella Vitae they are not ex
perimenting with some never-before
known root or bark or with an al
leged discovery of some Indian or
, half-breed. Stella Vitae is a rare com
! bination of the most beneficial vege
table herbs and roots known to
| science for the correction of disorders
peculiar to the woman. And the "tre
mendous success that has invariably
followed its use has already proven
conclusively the supremacy of the
Stella Vitae treatment over any other
method for restoring weak, run-down
suffering women to health, happiness
and the enjoyment of the pleasures
of life. Stella Vitae is sold in Camden
by Zemp & DePass.
