I have mot many geniuses and I -nev

them couldn't concentrate and write a

There is u painter who can't s5?nm> un

Anybody can do his mvii advertising
whO can thl'iwk ivp ?n eccentricity. If
one eccentricity dosen't seem to bring
home the bacon one can always try an
other.
I know of one oJd lawyer who always

the ribbon alone causes fifty people ev

body in particular.
I know another man In the same
profession who always hauls out an
old horn snuffbox, taps it with a flour
ish on his left hand, looks around to
; make sure somebody is watching ihlm,
then raises the left hand to has nose
a'"d sniffs loudly, then ?1ves a satis

always the same an<l there hasn't been
a grain of snuff in that snuffbox since
he has owned it. If that old boy ever
took as much .snuff as In' pretends to
take lie would sneeze the roof off tfio
courthouse .vorveral times a day. Hut
somebody invariable asks who the

All of wh'ich comes nnder the head of
advertising.
Methods <>f pcr.siai<al advertising are
varied and often clever. The fellow
