vat containing boiling water and was
very seriously burned. The water in
the vat is kept at a boiling pitch at all
times and is "Used in the manufacture
of veneered wood. It is not known ex
actly how the negro fell into the vat
as precautions are taken to prevent
accidents of this nature. The negro
was taken to the Tourney Hospital ini
mediately where everything possible
has been done for his comfort and con-,
veniencc. The negro's legs and lower
part of Ids body were very baly (burned
and It is not known vet whether. his .in
