wind storm, six miles wide and extend

equal lot proportion to that of June 8,
1910, today visited the Tlndal and Brog

crops. The tobacco crop is a ^otal loss.

raw sugar are at the local docks, it
was announced on the sugar exchange
today. Two vessels began unloading
today. The American Sugar Refinery
Company here today announced the ad
dition of on6 cent to the price of granu
ujated, making the selling price now 18
1-2 wholesale and 21 1-2 retail.

Had Much Stolen Geeda.
Buck Addison, a negro, who reside*
n short distance west of the Sedboard
passenger station, was arrested and
placed In Jail Tuesday afternoon, -fol
lowing a search of his houHe by Chief of
Police Whitaker and Constable Stokes
For n long while there has been a
shortage in foods shipper here over the
-Seaboartl and the agent was at a loss
to account for it. Suspicion pointed
to Addiacm and a search of his bouse
revealed articles ranging from a cook
stove to cigarettes. It Is estimated
that he bad gotten around three hund
red dollars worth of merchandise, in
cluding' several bolts of fine cloth. Most
it the goo<fs bore the address of locaT
merchants and some at Ckssatt. It ta
thought Addison had a confederate and
there may be other arrests.
