Hospital Auxiliary met with the Presi
dent Mrs. Wm^?-Hfiaunou to receive and
dispose of the cheeks from the ..success
ful concert given under the aus]>ice? of
that organization. The results were
very gratifying and the final settlement
showed many kindnesses that they did
riot at first kuow about. The "stars"
of the evening were entertained by Mr.
Kriimbholz free oi charge, the organizu
tton "woudd hare- been responsible for
this bill and it saved them $4."?.00. The
amount turned orver to the ladies was
$128t$.70, and they decided to keep $i?00
of this amount In their treasury to re
plenish the linen, china and other need
ed articles from time tr> time. The bal
ance Was turned over to the board of
directors of the ('amden Hospital to^be
used for that institution as they thought
best. Ft is a happy thin* for the hos
pital and the donation is much appre
ciated as the institution has had con
siderable extra expense recently. Again
the ladies wiwh to thank all who were
interested and so kindly aided in bring
in? about the ha-prpy results of the un
dertaking.

Tuesday evening with n dance at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. -M. Baruch, and
again on Wednesday evening Magnolia
Villa, the beautiful home of Mr. and
Mr*. l>avtd Wolfe threw wide its doors
in honbr of the prospective bride and
her guests. <>n both occasions the merry
dance went on until late in the evening
and delirious refreshments were served.

placed in Grace K pisco pal Church in
memory of John MJoPherson and Kliza

for some years a Warden of the Pari?<h
