Mrs Susan A. WUtkowsky was the

plantations in lower Carolina. She was
reared in a home of affluence iu the old

was fond of literature, art and music,

Mrs. Wlttkowtfcy, as Mfsw Susan
Hynes, came to Camden during the bom

a resident of this place. At this sister's
home she was married to the late Adolph
Wiftloowdiy of this city, making their
home here, and rearing a family of live
sons. Three of these sons died in early
manhood and the sympathy of the en
tire community went out to the widowed'
mother in. the groat sorrows that came
thick and fast inrto her life. Two sons
survive, Mr L A WHtloowvky, a promi

Bar, and Henry WibtJoowsky, who has
been his mother's especial and devoted
care for years.
Mrs. Wittkowsky was a true Ameri
