ber fails to carry out Hie award the

ures. The Council will formulate plans
for the establishment of a permanent

advisory opinions. Members wh9 tlo not
submit -their case to arbitration must
accept the jurisdiction of the assembly.
If the Council, less the parties to -the

is planning a picnic supver for Friday
evening on Hie golf links. There surely

good friend. Mr. Lewellyn knows boys
and is ready ito make plans with them

in Shaw Park was a fowling success.

ulated.
There is going to be a serious time

Speaking of competition, brings to our
mind four committee# on cleanliness in
the mill. Some day Wateree is going
to invite Mayor Brasington -and others
to visit the mill and decide which com
mittee is doing the most effective work.
The Cotton Manufacturers Convention
met in GreenTtfllo last week. Wateree
had their three representatives, Mr. J.
E. Robinson, Miss Lillian Cornwall and
Miss Ethel Dumall. Many miils and vil
lages were visited. Great displays of
all kinds, pageants and conferences were
a big part o ft the convention.
Wateree welcomes among its new em
ployees Mr. A. G. Alewine and wife and
J. S. DeDBruhl from Lancaster.
