Camden and whh a wonvan of many
graces (if inind and character that WOU
her a wide circle of friends in every
phase of life. She was a woman of
strong couvictlons and great moral COlir*
age* and was over the same in the sun- ,
shine of |trom>erlty or the chilliug wiuds
of adventity. ; Kind-hearted and chari
table, there arc many who remember her
dooda of low and thoughtful kiuduesa
in her native town. She wp married
in early life to Mr. J, Douglas Mo

homo in t'atndeu, rearing an interesting
family. Several years ago the entire
family moved to Charleston, WoAt Vir
ginia where they have since- made their
home. Hhe is survived by her husband,
two sons and two duughter*, two sis
ters and ouo brother. A largo circle
of relatives and friends iu Camden

Memorial Service at Baptist Church,

The service held at the Raptist Church
on last Sunday afternoon in memory
of the late Ilonry T, Brown was largely
attended and the spirit. showu'by those
attending illustrated in what high es-.

quaintances.

service* and with appropriate song* and
scripture guvo general direction. Mr. W.
(I. Wilson read a letter from the Cap
tain of the deceased which expressed
the high esteem In which ho was held

made the address of which it may
safely ' be said, a Camden audience has
listened to uo better.
After some appropriate verses were
read from the Rymea of the Red Cross
Man, the entire congregation joined in

A fact that was greatly appreciated
by 'the relatives was the attendance in
mass, of th?? local lodge of Woodmen
of the World.
