Section II. That the said City of
Camden, S. C., shall provide and have
printed labor* identification cards.- which
shall be furnished to employers or em
ployees when called for by them. The
employees shall keep such cards on their
person, and exhibit them at any time,
to any policeman of said City, who may
desire to inspect said cards. Any em
ployee tvho shall forge the name of
any employer on said identification card,
shall upon conviction, be punished as
hereinafter provided.
Section III, " Any person or persons
violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance, or aiding or assisting in any
such violation, shall upon conviction in
the City Couft, be punished by a fine
of not less than $25.00, qor more than
$100.00, or bjr imprisoncoiNit for not
less than 10 days, and for not more than
30 days for every such offense.
Section IV. That this ordinance shall
take effect immediately upon its passage.

rolled, We feel that we have spleudid
teachers for the year and expect a good
year of it. Miss Nell Wilkes, the prin
cipal, impresses one as being very ca
pable. and she has the manner and tact
that win children right away. Misses
Mary Simpson and Anna Kate Alford
will assist Miss Wilkes. We regret
that Miss Alford cannot take her place
for several weeks on account of recent
.illness, but her place is being capably
filled by Miss Lucile Mic^kle.
Mr. Fred Still, card room ' overseer,
has resigned his position here and is
