rector of the Churdh. The National
Flag was presented by Mrs. A. K.
Bartow, of South Orange, N. J. She
ptve it in memory of her grandfather.
Francis Scott Key, who immortalized
his name when he wrote "The Star
Spangled Banner." When the British

stored away in a house' Saturday.

whiskey. Hero they did not tind any
liquor, but not l>elng satisfied they
went Uick later during the night and
made a thorough seaivh aud secured
more than forty pints. The whiskey
, was fouud concealed in the floor with
an entrance through a trap door. The
trap door was covered by a carpet
and a trunk was placed over the car
pet. MeGirt left town as soon as the
raid was made.
