Dr. Kerrlson left Saturday night for New York where he will take a post graduate course in his chosen proljea xion. After this. Mrs. Kerrlson anil E. H. .li4.. will Join him in Charleston', in which city they will make their homo. During ids several years stay in Camden, Dr. Kerrlson made a wide circle of friends in Camden, and In Kerwhaw County ami also among the tourist colony. A genial gentleman, and an export dentist, his going 18 a distinct loss to Camden. But In h!s native city, he will have a larger field for work and progress. The best wishes of the community go with him. LIBRARY 7 NOTES There has been no coal at the Library this winter and the wood does not heat the building. Airs. W. J, Dunn, chair man of the room committee has done all in her power to make it comfort able but she simply could not over come conditions. The pipes broke and the collar Is flooded, now, so that even a wood Are is Impossible. But in spite of these facts there have been .only a few irregularities ? -the library ; as been closed only three days dur g the winter ? two 011 account of illness, and one from the extreme cold. Plans for a two billion dollar government ship building program were revealed today when the shipping board asked Con gress for authority to place $701,000, 000 worth of additional ship contracts.
