In a recent contest given' by the
publishers of "The America n Roy." a
prize of five dollars was olYered for
the Nest cartoon submitted by a boy.

will he interested to know that his
drawing won tir-t prize. In response
to the offer, live hundred cartoons were
sent, many of which will be published
iu later issues of the magazine. The
prize winning -cartoon was published
in the July numher of "The American
Hoy."
