Troy James, a 14 year old boy, was
electrocuted by a trolley wire of the
Piedmont and Northern at Willlainston
Sunday. Young James and several
companions were playing on the South
ern railway trestle that spans the in
tern rban at the underpass. The youth
attempted athletic .stunts, dangling his
hotly from the trestle and while in a
susj>euded position his body came lu
contact with the wire of the electric
railway beneath.

All three of the young men replied ,
that they would, and that they would ;
never be seen in the court room again.
"Well, I hope you will," ("ontlnmsl
the Judge, "and that after you have
served your sentence you will try to
so live and conduct yourselves that
you will as much ax possible blot out
the stain you have placed on your chil
dren."
The Judge then sentenced all three
of the young men to one year at hard
labor on the ptiblle works of the coun
ty or in the state jxmltentiary, and two J
of them nine additional months for the
other offense.
While the Judge was making his
talk to the prisoners not a sound could
be heard in the court room save his
voice, as bo slowly reprimanded the
young men. It was a touching Right,
and more than one of the men in the
