Two Fires
Fire Wednesday partially destroy
ed a kitchen to the rear of the res
taurant conducted by Tell Hrown, on
South Main street. The water press
ure was excellent and the firemen
succeeded In saving the building.
Thursday afternoon the store and
residence occupied and conducted by
Annie Iteed, a colored woman, on Ju
raelle Hill, was destroyed by fire. It
was outside of the fire limits and no
assistance could be had from the fire
lepartment.
