Civil Service, is visiting his brothers, Messrs. Ebon and Alfred McLeod, of thifc city. Mr. McLeod lias been away from (^amden about twelve years. His headquarters are now at Mobile, Ala. Mr. Skinner, of Dftrllngton, who Is to be Mr. Eve's successor at the Cam den Oil Mill, will assume his duties on January 1st. Ills family will fol low in the near future, and we extend to them a welcome in advance, trusting that they will feel quite at home in home-like Camden. Mr. and Mrs. < >. B. Funderburk left this week for Catarrh, in Chesterfield county, where Mr. Funderburk goes to take charge of his farming interests. For the past few years Mr. Funderburk has been the popular salesman at the hardware firm of Ma lone- Pearce- Young Co., and his numerous friends made throughout tho county will be sorry to know that he will no longer be found there. They were both numbered among our best people and Camden regrets to give them up.
