This photograph shows a half-dome in the colossal Palace of Education at the Panama-Pacific International
Exposition in San FYancisco In 1916. The world's most noted artists, mural decorator^ and sculptors were en
gaged to decorate the exposition palaces and, as a result, the huge structures are indescribably beautiful. The
Interior of the dome is embellished wltlTa superb mosaic of brilliant colors, designed under the supervision of Mr.
Jules Guerin, the noted artist. The height to the top of the half-dome is 110 feet.

est paper in its section, published in
his opponent's home town, said of him

So ho seems to lm a political man
who can (leal with his fellow mem
ber# so as to inspire them with con
fidence and accomplish his purposes.
He is sometimes modest and qn the
occasion of the above editorial he
modestly disclaimed such wide influ
ence and thought it was a reflection
on the House to attribute such po<Vor
to one man. One of the daily news
papers editorially remarked as to this .
