The Unit <n| States -Government Students' Mil itary I ?n?t ruction Camp, Which is to In* held at Asheville July dth to August 7th, Is exacted to draw a large num ber of yoking men to Asheville this summer to take advaantage 'of this ex ceptional opportunity to get a month's vacation in the mountains of North Carolina with the aideil advantage of practical military Instruction under U. S. army officers. Only three Of these eamps are to he established and Asheville was chosen on account of its cool and healthy, cli mate and excellent transportation fa cilities. The camp site Is on a spur of Sunset mountain, closely adjacent to the Grove Park Inn and at the terminus of a street car Ui|0 giving frequent service to all other hotels. Asheville people are much Interested In thv success of the camp and Intend to do everything possible as well as instructive. ? The city has contributed city water connections and electric lights to the camp and both the Great er Western North Carolina Associa tion and the Asheville Hoard of Trade* are lending every assistance and will furnish any Information desired. The camp will be in charge of U. S. army otlicers who will conduct all drills and Instruction work and will give their j>ersonal attention at all times. The government will furnish tents, bedding, cooking utensils, and necessary equipment and all meals will be prepared by army cooks un der the supervision of officers.
