touching little speech. Then Mr. Da
vis made a most interesting response,
and closed by giving those present a

voted a unanimous good will to Mr.
Davis fdr ids day of pleasure given

and told us everything of interest

to buy skirts which did not hinder
locomotion; men have stopped me

thing that' could be done about It;
social workers have discussed In
my presence the effect which dress
has upon morals; advocates of Hie
dance have urged that proper dress

and many others have brought the
matter to my attention and each and

ter. Influenced by these things and
moved by my own observation, I
am led to ask myself and the club
women at largo if the matter, is not
one in which wo are vitally concern
ed. We are recognized as the vital,;

cease to adopt or countenance styles
