number. A guessing contest was

by Mr. Blakeney Zomp and MJss Sa
rah Mlckle.
The delicious refreshments! were
served on pretty little tables in tho
hall and the dainty combination of

erly carried out in every detail.'
Tho place cards were hand-painted
In sweet peas, the class flower, and
a bunch of these beauties from Na
ture's own hand was given to each
guest. The class cake was a beau
ty?all in pink, green and w.hite. It
contained the usual emblems, but
only ope was found? the ring ? and
we were just about, to say by whom,
but have decided not to tell ? we
will keep her secret. safe.

for his old home in Germany where
ho will spend several months visit
ing his kindred In tho old country.
Upon his return to Camden in Au
gust Mr; Eichel will form the Eichel
Dry Goods Company. Ho intends to
purchase the store and stock of
David Wolfe and will carry an upto
date stock of general dry goods.
Mr. Eichel camo to Camden about
fifteen years ago and entered the
dry goods business wlth-Hirach
Bros. & 'Co., and since that time
has clerked with various dry goods
establishments in this "city and know
the wants Of the people in his line.

over by a buggy driven by Mr.?i
Frank Ghent. One of the wheels
passed over th body of the little fel
low and it was supposed, , at first,
that he was fatally hurt, but it has
turned out that he was only bruised
and stunned. The grandmother of
the little follow , Mrs. Margaret
Stamesr who appeared on the scene
immediately after accident, was so
agitated over the occurence, think
ing her grandson was fatally injured
she fell into a faint and shortly af
terwards died, it is supposed from
