In respond to a petition of the majority of the freeholders of the City of Camden, of date February 11th, 1018, directed to the City Council of Camden, South Carollnu asking that an election be ordered in the City of Caihdpn by the said City Council of Camden, for the pur pose of submitting to the qualified electors of the said City the quos tion of the, issuance of ninety thous and dollar*) ($90,000.00) coupon bonds for the establishment &nd ownership by the said City of a waterworks plant for thy use of said City and the eitlsens thereof; and in pursuance of a resolution of the City Council of Camden, South Caro lina, passed at a meeting of Bald City Council on February 18th, 1918 ordering a special election; notice is hereby given that there will be a special election held In the City of Camden, on Tuesday, the 18th day of March, 1913, on the ques tion of Issuing coupon bonds of the City of Camden, South Carolina, to the amount of ninety thousand dol lars (190,000.00) bearing interest at the rate of five per cent, per annum, payable e*mi-*nnuaily, pay Able in any legal tender money of the United States forty (40) year* after date, with the privilege of re demption after twenty (20) years from date, said bonds to be of a denomination of one thousand dol lars ($1,000.00) oach, for the pur pose of the establishment and own ership by the City of Camden of a water workB plant for the" Use and benefit City Qf Camden and its cltliens.
