Under the teririH of this offer
("Opportunity Time") every club of
$10 worth -of subscriptions turned in
by 8 p. rn., Wednesday, January 8th,
will entitle the .content ant sending

votes, over and above the regular
schedule.

No Limit to Number of Clubs.
There is no limit to the number
of clubs that may be turned in by
any one candidate, . lOach candidate
who hopes to be numbered among
the prize winners should at least
turn In one club.
Time Intended.
When "Opportunity Time" was
first announced, just before Christ
inas, the contest management did
not take into consideration the fact
that during the holidays little or no
time would be given up to the con
test affairs and consequently noth
ing has been accomplished by the
contestants during the present offer
of 25,000 extra votes on every club
of $10 worth of subscriptions.
Many of the candidates have sug
gested to the contest manager that
an extension of time be made in
which to secure a club to earn tho
25,000 extra vote ballot. This re
quest has been granted and the of
fer will be open until Wednesday
January Sth, at 8 o'clock In tho
evening, instead of Saturday night
as was originally announced. There
will be no other changes from this
announcement. "Opportunity Time"
will positively close next Wednesday
night.

ment has reference to The Camden
News being purchased by. The Clnon
iclo together with its subscription
list, the mechanical department and
the good will of the paper. In tak
ing over The News, The Chronicle
will mature all unexpired subscrip
tions of The News and wilt collect
from those who were in arrears on
that paper.
This makes it easier for you to
solicit support in the race. There
were a great many people taking The
News over the oounty and there arc
perhaps a good many in your neigh
borhood who were numbered among
The News subscribers but who, own
ing to the purchase of The News by
The Chronicle, are now numbered
among The Chronicle subscribers.
Back collections from the former
News subscribers will earn.. votfiB
the same as collections of back ac- >
counts on The Chronicle.
If a list of the former News sub
scribers will aid you in your cam
paign, and it should, you may se
cure them by calling* writing or,
phoning the Contest Department.
A list of the Chronicle subscribers
will also be furnished you if you
do not already know who is taking
the Chronicle in your territory.

bile or the Piano if you want them. .
It takes but a couple of hours work
to secure one of the 25,0^00. extra
yote ballots. Half the battle is won,
after securing one of these extra
ballots.
