Some time ago The Chronicle announced that it would award a piano to the lady receiving the highest num ber of votes in the contest and while a few ambitious and popular ladies started out to win the one prize, The Chronicle soon realized that to make the winning easier for the candidates and to make the enterprise worth while it would be necessary to add more prizes and to call into consultation experienced men in this line of promotion.
