It Ih with sincere sorrow that
we learn of the death of Mrs. Ida
Clifton which occurred at her home
at Cuntey Hill on Monday night.
Mrs. Clifton wa? the (laughter of
Mr. and Mm. S. F. Kelley, to whom
and her other relatives we extend
our sincere sympathy. Mrs. Clif
ton leaves a husband and two or
three children. The burial took
place at Cuntey Hill on Tuesday.

General Assembly of the State of

to contract matrimony within this

statement under oath, or affirma
tion, to tho effect that the persons
seeking to contract matrimony are
legally capacitated to marry, togeth
er with the full names of the per

dence. Of the fee of one ($1.00)

book kept for that purpose; and
it shall be tho duty of the Judgo of
Probate to issue a certified copy of
Bald license and certificate to any
person upon such person paying him
the sum of twenty-five conts as a
fee therefor.
Sec. 6. That all fines imposed
and recovored for any violation of

Treasurer and credited by him to

thorized to administer a marriage
ceremony In this State.
