Horse Show.
Last year Camden had the honor
of hario? one of the beft horse
shows in the South. Entries bciny
made froui -most of the important
neighboring towns and cities. It was
decided, then, to have one for all
years coming. The latter part of
March is the time set for this year.

G. Whistler, T. Edmund Krumbholz
and Dr. L. H. Snider. Secretary.

The home talent play, "Alice in
Wonderland" given last night was
tha best , home talent play given
here for years. The songs, dancee,
drills and specialties were all
catchy, well trained and unusually
good. All oredit is due Miss Qer
aldine Bresslau, who worked hard
for a week training the buys and
girlp. The opera houso whs crowd
ed and everyone enjoyed the play
from start to finish. ,
The proceeds were $200.75.

Deaths
Afier a long iilneas Mrs. Stephen
A. Mathis died at the home of Mr.
E. J. Lewie on Saturday afternoon
last. Mrs. Mathia was a sister of
Mr F. E. Mathis and Mrs E J. Lew
is of onr (own. She was a most de
vont christian woman. Her great
suffering was borne with Christlike
patience and resignation, and her
freed soul is now with Him who
said "Blessed are the pare in heart
for they shall see God."
