R. Cook not long after the Revolu
tionary War, and is probably the
oldest house in Ciraden bpiog now
more than 100 years old. However,
the frame work is ss sound to-day
as wUen it was ejected, find lb*
timbers show no signs of decay.

pinned together, so that it could
defy the strongest storms and
blasts that have visited this sec
tion during its more than one hun
