W. F. RUSSELL, Clk. Korshaw Co. Pen. Bd. Meeting of the Cemetery Aseociation. Tho annual meeting of tho Cem etery Association was held on the afiernoon of Apiil 20 h. It' is a matter of great regret that so few ? ao very few attend these meetings, or take any interest in the woik of the Association. The membership should be much larger than it is ? one at least out of oach family wiio own lots at the Cemetery should be long to the Association. It would then be poBsiblo to do much tov^pis beautifying the grounds of Ibis ''City of our dead.'' The Standing C nnmitte in this report expressed their regret at'the loss by death of J uati Brown who had been the faithful, trust- worthy, and respect ful keeper of the ? Camotery for twenty year*. There wu considerable discus eioo oo the subject of fast drlying through the Cemetery, and of per sons putting trash from their pri vate enclosures on the grounds, and also la refflrd to picking flowers; It was decided lo have certain l-Uc4S for trash to l>e deposited, a? soon as possible to prooure recep tacles for same, It was also decid ed that the rules on these matters be put up at th? gate, and the M soot at Ion earnestly hope that ell persons will atrlotly observe these rates, .. --T l)r Kdwsrd Tboninon representing the Sunday l/esgne of America dotiv orod ft lecturo Ht llio I'reshytorUn Church last Wednesday evening to ft not very lar^e nudien'CP.
