As the death dew gathered on her
marble brow, around her hedsidi
gather those who loved tier. The
life so interwoven with' tbnrs, with
tearful eyes they watched as it,
slowly but surely paa?ed over. The
love of this good woman fiy her
children and grandchildren al
most surpassed lium&n understaud
ing. Business cares ant) their own
home cirke have encroached uppn
their time, may have robbed tier
of their companionship, ' but she
was ever Just the eam?; rejoicing
in their successes and grieving at
their misfortunes. They may have
grown away from her, but she nev
er from them; they were siill her
boys aud gitle. We know that
yearn hence the memory of her un
selfish devotion will make them bet
ter men and better women and her
precepts be their guiding star.
Vain is any attempt to measure
the loss of a mother to her chil
dren; after all, outside of heaven,
I ihere is no love like mother-love.
We believe the tender caro devoted
to those nearrnt fcnd deares*, went
with her to the better land, and in
the possibilities of eterniiy may bp
needed heieafter. x
