Tho tragic death of Mr. Athol H.
Miller, which occurred in Tampa,
Fla, last Friday, has cast a gloom
over our entire community. Mr.
Miller was a eon-in-law of Mr. H.
G. Garrison and he leaves a devoted
wife and a bright little boy about
four yeara old, who have the deep
est sjufpathy of ihe entile commu
nity. The body was brought to
Cauuien over the Seaboard railroad
on Sunday night and the interment
lock place at tfn o'oiock on Mon
day morning iu the Camden ceme
tery.

A Pretty Homu Wedding
On Monday evening a beautiful
and simple wedding took place a*
the bride's home on Lyttleton 8t.,
L he contracting parlies being Miss
Aiice Elizabeth Zetup, of this town,
and- Mr. Albert Krnest Weatherly,
of Msxton, N. C Although the
engagement of this Jojjng couple
had been announced, the wedding
occurred sooner than was antici
pated and their many friends were
surprised to learn of their determi
nation to seal the bond so early.
Promptly at the hour of seven
l lie bridal party entered the par
lor, the lovely young bride upon
the aim of her father, and the
groom accompanied by the best
man, Mr, Donald M. i^etup. Stand
ing before the Rector, Rov. VV. B.
Gordan, these two were mado one
according to the beautiful ccremo
ny of the Episcopal Church. The

7:55 train for their future home in
Maxton, N . C. '
