has been awarded tirst prize, a diploma and
medal, the highest award, for its "Hammer
Brand" horse and mule shoes by the
Jamestown Exposition.
The jury of awards in deciding on tlie
winner in the competition for horse and
mule shoes declared the Old Dominion Iron
and Nail Works the winner on account of ,
exccllcnee of material, workmanship and
durability. . ^
This is the second time this company haa
won. iirst prize, the other being in the St.
Louis Exposition, when the award waa
made in its favoi;. Numbers of other
awards have been won by the company for
its horse and mule shoes in other State
and metal expositions and fairs.
