den Presbyterian Church, conducted
by Ruv. K<-ff Smith,of Georgia. Mr
Smith' was invited here with tho

the pastorate of the Church. It
is not yet known whether the

Death of Mr. Paul McDowell,
After a long illness Mr. Paul
McDowell died last Saturday aftor
noon about 2 o'clock. Mr. McDow
ell was a most excellent young man
and the end of his life was as
peaceful as a, Summer day. Not
