was good, U110 and noble. He was
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Isaac Jones. Me was born in Cam-!

spent here.
Jt is aad at any time to stand be
side t?*e bed of the dying aud wutcb
life's ebbing tide drifting the loved
oues slowly, perhaps, but surely in
to the gi;est oceau of eternity, but
when there cornea whisperings from
parched lips ^ ^Though I walk
through the valley of the shadow
of deatb, I will fear no evil > for
Thou art with me; Thy rod and
Thy statf they comfort me," it
brings a balm to the wounded
heart. Thus closed the life of this
noble man.
Ah we stood bcsidd lav grave on
yesterday when the sky w#s trrra
mod with liar gorgeous rosy hue,
iu fancy we could see him?not in
death's cold shroud of sorrow and
despair, but "iniling upon us from
the sun?eL halo that marks God'a
farewell to tha day?smiling with
nil the well remembered grace of
his mtwihood and saying to us ,
"The sunset apaaks but foebly of the
glories of
Another day. All is well
He leaves a devoted wife and
three children, one brother and one"
sister. We can but remind these
mourners that he is not dead, he
is only asleep?roetiog. And from
the beauty of his life take an in
spiration and live at he did so
when the summons comes you may
say as he, "All U well."
The funeral wtta held from the
residence yesterday afternoon at
5 o'clock.
