and stately home of the President,
Mrs. Hi*.uco Davis, to welcome the
delegates of The Woman's Auxili
ary of the Diocese of S. C; which
held its annual Convention at
Grace Church, Camden, May 21 ?
'23 Daily services were held at
10 30 A. M where very encourag
ing reports were made by the dif
ferent branches of the organiza
tion, showing an increase in mem
bership and devotions. The report*
from the Junior Auxiliaries at 4 30
ulso showed great Improvements
in work undertaken. The venera
hie and beloved Bishop of tho Dio
cese wns present at each meeting
giving 11ih valued counsel to these
earnest workers, whose able assis
tance lie gladly lecogHized. Tin
Rev. Air. Cornish, and the Mis
sionary of the Diocwss, Rev Mr
Walsh, gave interesting accounts of
their labors, ai ousing renewed zeal
among the members f<?r still more
effort in the noble cause to which
ihey are directing their energy and
their interest.
