It is with deep regret that wean
nounce the dentil of Capt. .James
A. Benson, which occurred last
Saturday evening about 7 o'clock at
the Columbia hospital where he had
been carried from his home in Cam* 1
den for treatment. His body was
brought back to Camdeu cvn the
early Seaboard train Sunday morn
ing. Cant. Benson whs 58 years of

All citizens of this State between the
ages of Twenty-one and Sixty years of
age. exceptnur Confederate soldiers arc re
quired to pay a Poll Tax of One Dollar a
year.
All returns sent by mail must be made
out oiyiroper blanks and sworn to before
some officer qualified to administer said
oath, otherwise they will not be received
at this office m retnnuy'
. The County Board of Equalization will
meet at the office of tho County Auditor
on the 4th Tuesday of March, 1907. for the
purpose of equalizing proparty, hearing
complaints ana protests.
